Medical Weight-Management Consultation
Your medical weight-management journey begins with a comprehensive consultation focused on understanding your health, lifestyle and personal goals—not simply the number on the scale.
During your consultation, your provider will review:
- Your medical and weight history
- Previous weight-loss attempts
- Current medications and health conditions
- Nutrition, movement, sleep and stress
- Weight, body measurements and body composition
- Muscle mass and body-fat percentage
- Laboratory results or recommended testing
- Your short- and long-term goals
Based on this evaluation, your provider will discuss appropriate options and create a personalized plan. Recommendations may include nutrition and lifestyle support, prescription treatment when medically appropriate, muscle-preservation strategies, body-composition monitoring and regular follow-up visits.
Ongoing care allows us to evaluate your progress, address side effects, adjust your plan and help you develop a realistic maintenance strategy.
Consultations are available in office and through telemedicine for eligible clients, depending on location and medical suitability.
