More than body contouring

Functional wellness starts with stronger muscle.

For functional wellness, the goal is not simply how you look. It is how you move, how stable you feel, how well your body supports your lifestyle, and how confidently you return to the things you enjoy.

A starting point, not a checklist

Who may benefit?

Functional Emsculpt NEO may be a helpful option for adults who want support with:

The right next step depends on your health history, goals, and provider assessment.
  • Core weakness, posture, or stability
  • Muscle loss during medically supervised weight loss
  • Lower-body strength, balance, and mobility
  • Glute, hip, thigh, or calf conditioning
  • Upper-back and arm muscle conditioning
  • Recovery after reduced activity, travel, illness, or time away from fitness
  • Athletic performance, endurance, and recreational fitness
  • Golf, pickleball, tennis, running, gym training, or active family life
  • Healthy aging and long-term muscle preservation
  • Feeling less strong, less stable, or less confident in everyday movement

Movement, recovery & joint support

Support the muscles that help you move.

Muscles play an important role in supporting how we move. When the core, hips, glutes, thighs, back, or surrounding muscles are weak or under-conditioned, everyday activities may feel more difficult.

Functional Emsculpt NEO may be used under medical supervision as part of a personalized plan focused on muscle re-education, improved local circulation, maintaining or increasing range of motion, and support for appropriate rehabilitation goals.

For clients with chronic joint discomfort, prior injury, reduced mobility, or recovery concerns, your provider will help determine whether Functional Emsculpt NEO, regenerative care, PRP joint injections, physical therapy, or another approach is the right next step.

Important: Functional Emsculpt NEO does not replace medical evaluation, physical therapy, or treatment for an acute injury.

Personalized treatment areas

Condition what supports your movement.

Your provider will recommend the most appropriate treatment area based on your goals and assessment.

01

02

Glutes & Hips

03

Thighs & Calves

Condition key lower-body muscles that contribute to endurance, mobility, and an active lifestyle.

04

Upper Back & Arms

Support postural strength, upper-body conditioning, and muscular endurance in targeted areas.

The session

What does treatment feel like?

Intense muscle contractions. A warming sensation. A feeling unlike a traditional workout.

During your session, you will feel intense muscle contractions and a warming sensation in the treated area. Most clients describe the warmth as similar to a hot-stone massage, paired with muscle activation that feels unlike a traditional workout.

Treatments generally take about 30 minutes per area, with no required downtime. You may feel temporary muscle fatigue, tightness, or soreness afterward, similar to an effective workout.

Strength through change

Functional Emsculpt NEO + weight loss.

Weight loss should not come at the expense of muscle.

For clients participating in medically supervised weight-management programs, Functional Emsculpt NEO can be incorporated into a body-recomposition strategy centered on muscle preservation, strength, tone, and long-term wellness.

The focus is not simply losing weight. It is helping you feel stronger while your body changes.
